Letter to Woodbourne School Principal
September 3, 2003
Mrs. Donnova Greer,
Principal
The Woodbourne School
1301 Woodbourne Avenue
Baltimore, MD 21239
Dear Ms. Greer:
I want to extend my gratitude to you and to your talented staff at the Woodbourne School. My son attended your school during school year ‘02-‘03. He has learned many life lessons there, as well as classroom lessons. For the diversity of ages, cultures, and backgrounds faced by your staff every day, I commend each and every one of them for their many efforts extended to help our children grow into better adults.
Those that pass through your walls are truly blessed for the invaluable life lessons learned there, for the renewed hope that it is not too late to become a better person, and for the truly dedicated individuals who teach there. The school, the atmosphere, and the dedicated teachers all offer hope – something many of these children would perhaps otherwise not have.
Please pass on my eternal gratitude to each and every member of the Woodbourne School for the help they offered my son. I believe that he will carry these life lessons forever.
Sincerely,
Sharon Romano
