Woodbourne’s Children’s Diagnostic Treatment Center (CDTC) is both a safety net and safe harbor for those scarred by a range of life’s events.  It is the only disgnostic center in Baltimore to receive children in crisis.

                                   CDTC TherapistWe offer children a positive healing and living experience for up to 90 days when they are at risk of psychiatric hospitalization, are moving from a hospital setting, or in need of a break from a residential program, foster care, or home setting. The children at CDTC may attend school at our on-site Type III school, or at a neighborhood school, based on their individual needs.

We strive to stabilize children so they can move to the next phase of care.
